SPAIN GOLDEN VISA

Spain launched its Golden Visa programme in 2013, requiring renewal every 2 years. After 5 years its possible to gain permanent residency and after 10 years, citizenship. 

The main advantage of Spain’s Golden Visa is the speed at which a residence permit is issued and the comparatively low cost of renewal.

Spain is naturally compared to its neighbour Portugal and whilst the investment requirement of €500,000 property is now double that of the Portuguese programme there is considerably more choice as to which property can be purchased in Spain, with no restrictions other than the minimum investment limit.

INVESTMENT OPTIONS

Foreign investors who meet the eligibility criteria can obtain a residence permit that allows them and their family members to live, work, and study in Spain, as well as travel freely within the Schengen Area of 26 EU countries.

To qualify for the Spanish Golden Visa, individuals must make one of the following investments in the country:

Real Estate Investment: Purchase a property or properties in Spain with a minimum value of €500,000

Bank Deposit: Deposit at least €1,000,000 in a Spanish bank account for a minimum of three years.
